•Alicia Duke, Sr. Director, Health, Safety & Security J.R. Simplot Company

Alicia has served as the Director of Health, Safety & Security for the J.R. Simplot Company since 2000. Alicia is responsible for leading and directing the company locations to ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state health and safety regulations. In addition, Alicia leads a team to develop and implement effective proactive health and safety programs for the sole purpose of protecting Simplot’s greatest asset, their employees.

•David Kearns, MPA, CIH, Area Director, Occupational Safety & Health Administration 

David is the Director for the OSHA office covering all of Idaho. He has over 22 years of workplace safety and health experience including as an instructor, construction safety auditor, and private sector safety and health manager. An Idaho native, David holds degrees from Boise State and loves to mountain bike, ski, and float rivers in and around Idaho.

•Dusti Swinney, Vice President of HR, Safety, and Talent Development for Western States Equipment 

Holding her Bachelor’s Degree in finance and Masters of Business, Dusti has experience in several industries, most recently in manufacturing and machinery. Dusti’s passion is building strong company cultures and coaching and mentoring leaders to think progressively about people strategy.

•Brad Ferland, Director of Safety for Western States Equipment 

Brad has been leading the safety program at Western States for over 3 years. He holds his CSP (Certified Safety Professional) certification, is an OSHA authorized trainer and has been a safety professional for over 17 years. After earning his degree in safety, Brad began his career on the Big Dig construction project in Boston and has since worked in manufacturing, construction, and machinery.
