Join Rob Roe of Western Trailers, Liz Drysmid of Franklin Sensors, Jeff McCarthy of Famco, and Tracie Lee of Boise State University as they discuss current Tariff trends, challenges, and the strategies companies are using to navigate them.
Jeff McCarthy, CEO, Famco. Jeff has more than 20 years of progressive management experience in global market-leading businesses that develop and manufacture technically challenging products. Responsible for multiple sites including international and domestic businesses.
Rob Roe, Purchasing Manager, Western Trailers. Rob is a supply chain expert with 29 years of experience in logistics and operations. He is the Purchasing Manager at Western Trailer Co., a leading semi-trailer manufacturer in Boise. Rob specializes in optimizing supply chain processes and reducing costs. He also serves on the Freight Advisory Council for the Idaho Transportation Department, advocating for manufacturing and transportation.
Liz Drysmid, Operations Manager, Franklin Sensors. Liz is the Operations Manager at Franklin Sensors, where she helps deliver innovative stud finders to top retailers. Previously as Purchasing Manager, she launched a new line of electronic levels. Liz co-owned a fast-growing eCommerce company that made the Inc.5000 list twice, fueling her passion for supply chain optimization and financial KPIs. She also co-owns a software company focused on business process documentation.
Tracie Lee, Boise State University. Tracie teaches Supply Chain & Statistics courses at BSU. Tracie also served as a Digital Faculty Consultant and Subject Matter Expert for McGraw-Hill Education in Supply Chain & Statistics, since 2017. Before teaching, she worked in supply chain roles for Hewlett-Packard and other companies for 15 years.
