Course Description
This training meets the requirements of OSHA’s Powered Industrial Truck Standard 1910.178. This class does not include a forklift function drive test. This allows employers to test employees using their site-specific forklifts under conditions present in their work environment.
Note: Formal training and evaluation of the operator’s performance on a forklift (functional drive test) is required for complete certification. Summit can be contacted to facilitate on-site employer functional drive tests if needed.
